Alyssa is a business and transactional law attorney, with almost a decade of private firm experience in corporate law and litigation. Her litigation background enables her to bring a unique perspective to her business practice by helping clients mitigate risk and problem solve as they navigate diverse commercial and strategic issues. Alyssa provides practical advice and understands clients’ objectives for the deal at hand to help them solve complex challenges and realize business opportunities.

Her experience includes:

• Negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and technology agreements, including software licenses, professional services agreements, supply and manufacturing/co-pack agreements, vendor agreements, distribution agreements, reseller agreements, and other supply chain-type contracts.

• Representing clients in equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and other complex strategic transactions.

• Advising emerging and established businesses of all sizes in a variety of industries, including agriculture, alcohol beverage, healthcare, manufacturing and technology.

Alyssa previously practiced law with the corporate group at Stoel Rives LLP, the business and tax team at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, and the litigation group at Nixon Peabody LLP.  She received a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as an editor on the Virginia Tax Review, and a BA in History and French, magna cum laude, from Wellesley College.
