Jennifer is an experienced business and managing attorney, who has worked for companies, in government, and in private practice, representing clients in several sectors. This diverse experience has made Jennifer a highly adaptive attorney with a passion for efficient legal process, who enjoys diving into new industries and practice areas.
Jennifer has worked with OGC clients since the firm was founded, negotiating a wide range of complex commercial and technology agreements and advising on technology, privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property issues. Additonally, she has managed multiple M&A transactions, served as onsite in-house counsel for OGC clients, and counseled regarding implementation and improvement of legal business process.
Prior to OGC, Jennifer managed a legal team responsible for finance, M&A, contracts, intellectual property, privacy, real estate, and employee benefits as Assistant General Counsel for Kindercare. Before moving in-house, she was a Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Oregon Department of Justice, where she co-chaired the Business Transaction Section’s Information Technology and Intellectual Property practice group, and practiced telecommunications law at Davis Wright Tremaine.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in Oregon and Alaska (inactive) and also holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E information privacy professional certifications. Outside of the office, she has completed multiple mountain bike and triathlon endurance events and climbed several Northwest peaks.
