Sanny is a trusted legal advisor, known for effective collaboration and finding practical solutions that further client goals.

As Chief Legal Officer of Validant (now ELIQUENT Life Sciences) Sanny oversaw all legal matters and applied a solutions-oriented approach to support a global professional services business through several phases of growth.

A former civil litigator, Sanny transitioned seamlessly to corporate/transactional work, assisting growth and emerging companies with their contracts and employment law needs. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sanny was an associate at several Bay Area firms, including Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May (now Reed Smith) and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where she focused on employment law.

While attending UCLA School of Law, Sanny served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Saundra Brown Armstrong of the United States District Court, Northern District, and also externed at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District. She is fluent in Cantonese and can speak Mandarin conversationally. Sanny holds a Bachelor’s degree with high honors in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, and received a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law, where she was a Joseph Drown Foundation Scholar.

Sanny is admitted to practice in Oregon and California. She is a member of the Women's General Counsel Network, UCLA Law Women LEAD and is on the Editorial Advisory Committee of The Bulletin, an Oregon State Bar publication.
