Shirin Chahal is a senior transactional attorney who serves as outside general counsel to companies across a wide range of industries. She advises clients on the legal and strategic issues that arise across the business lifecycle, including entity formation, commercial contracting, intellectual property, real estate transactions, and M&A. Shirin is known for being responsive, proactive and deeply invested in helping her clients succeed.

Shirin’s work spans day-to-day commercial contracting, copyright and trademark, and high-stakes transactional matters. She also brings significant experience in tax resolution, helping clients navigate complex issues with the IRS and state departments of revenue.

Before becoming an attorney, Shirin worked in the music industry, and still holds a passion for supporting the creative and entertainment industries, including musicians, filmmakers, visual artists and arts nonprofits. In her free time, Shirin loves skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking and camping in the summer.
